Shree Shivalaya high school project has introduced by Mr Ang Dawa Sherpa who was born in this village. Mr. Ang dawa Sherpa used to go in this school and attended few classes. He left the school after completing grade 5 which was the highest grade at that time. He wished to study more and talked to his father to admit in another school which was a day long walk but his father had no means to fulfill his son's wish because of the distance and inability to afford the expenses.
Instead his father brought him to the head quarter of the district 2 days full walking to work as a porter at the age of 12.
Mr. Ang dawa Sherpa worked many years as a porter and at the age of 16, he became a trekking Guide of the Mountain.
The goal of this project is provide High school level education to all the children of this village and tries to fulfill the dream of many Ang dawas currently living in this village. By the time the country was turned into a battleground of decades long conflict worsened the condition of villagers.
Many children were forced to involve in the conflict and was badly affected all those communities. Only objective is to Sherpa, Tamang, Magar, Dalits children in a bid to give them a better chance to live a happy, secure and healthy life. The project is primarily focused on ensuring children's rights to get higher education till10+2
For this, Patle Shree Shivalaya School seeks financial support from various donors. With the funds collected from the donors, the project aims to upgrade the School from grade 8 to grade 12.
The money received will be directly utilized for the upgrading the school level up to grade 10 +2, provide stationeries, installing School Library, creating a science lab and construction of necessary School building, Class room, outfits and other necessary educational resources.
