There are 18 Pre-primary and Primary schools in the village with total number of children around 1500. Each year around 100 students leave the school completing their primary education. After completion of their Primary education, most of the children abandon their school life. The reason behind this is due to lack of higher-level school infrastructure and weak economical condition of villagers. Some student manages to go to Kathmandu or in other nearby villages, which take 1 day of full walking distance. Many youth works as porter from the small age because of their weak economical condition that their parents cannot afford.
